Big Ben and Ian Millar

In November, 2004, I was invited to help create portraits of Big Ben, and Ian Millar. Sculptor Stewart Smith took on the commission. He invited my sister, sculptor Ruth Abernethy, to assist in the work, and I was asked to help accurately portray Big Ben. An enormous horse at 18.3, the life-sized portrait now stands in the Millar's home town of Perth, Ontario. The bronze cast by Artcast Inc. Georgetown, Ontario.

Thank you , Stewart, and Ruth. Working with you was a priviledge. www.stewartpatterns.com / www.RuthAbernethy.com / www.artcast.com
